Mr. Ashok P. Hinduja has been appointed as Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hinduja TMT Limited with effect from 1st October 2005. Approval of the shareholders would be sought at the Company’s Annual General Meeting scheduled to be held on 27th September 2005.

Mr. Hinduja, who would continue to be based in Mumbai, would give strategic direction to the Company’s business, guide on diversification / acquisition strategies and opportunities, long term planning as well as turnaround strategies and creating value of the media and broadband subsidiaries, relationship building with governments, policy makers, key customers and industry associations, etc.

The day to day business and operations of the Company would continue to be under the charge of Mr. K. Thiagarajan, Managing Director and CEO, who has recently shifted base to Bangalore, which is the Company’s operations hub in India. Mr. Thiagarajan is responsible for the Company’s global operations comprising India, USA, Canada, Philippines, Mauritius, Europe as well as the overseas subsidiaries.
